Christmas Gift Hunt

It’s definitely not over yet. We still need to buy loads and literally hound stores to grant some wishes. I haven’t even bought a gift for my hubby and still can’t decide what to get for him. And it’s 3 days before Christmas! Maybe I’ll find one during our holiday trip. Or maybe, I can make online purchase for some techie products or softwares.
Of late, I’ve noticed hubby exploring video editing using free software installed on his laptop. And he sometimes, would complain that the functionalities aren’t complete or just too simple. But then what do you expect from freebies. So off he went to rummage thru the net to find free video editing software but he ended up with Yoostar. Hubby
, I think, is really impressed as he is talking non-stop about it. Looks like it is not only a great tool but also handy especially for those who like to dabble in video creation. Imagine doing your own movie! Now that’s what I call exciting.

Using Yoostar, you will really be a star! At your own pace, at your own scene choices. You can even act alongside the actors of your much loved movie. Best part, you do not need thousands of moolah renting gadgets or even studios, with minimal one-time cash-out, you can shoot at the convenience of your own house. Just purchase the Yoostar package which includes a specially-designed webcam, green screen with stand, remote control and software that contains hundreds of movie scenes and set of landscapes. Plug (into your computer) and play and it’s action time! And then you can share your act to the world by uploading you video in Yoostar.com or social networking sites.

This would be great for my hubby’s business perspective. He’s getting more excited. I don’t have objections product-wise, but let’s see how it goes.

7 days to go!

And the countdown begins. 7 days more and it's going to be a very nice Christmas holiday trip with my husband.
But I can't feel the excitement yet. For some reasons, my workload is shooting-up, so many headcounts are being raised and approved right at this moment and I am expecting 10 more to add to my growing pile of positions to fill. I am running out of ways to source as I've tried traditional and non-traditional sourcing means. I'm exploring now Free Press Release. The site would be able to help us address our pipeline issues as I can post press release or maybe job postings in their site, and here's the good thing (drum roll please) - it's for free! By submitting press releases, I can reach so many potential candidates on a global perspective and would drive targetted customers visit our corporate website (Career Section) and possibly (& hopefully) apply to respective roles. I think it's great and worth to give it a try.
Free Press Release would be great as online marketing tool for corporations or small-medium enterprises (SME). Aside, they seem to provide excellent service by posting press releases in an instant and even indexed by google.
Am looking forward to explore this free service...before I look forward to our upcoming trip.

Happy 1st [church wedding] Anniversary to my Husband!

365 days ago, I said 'I do' for the 2nd time (first was during our civil wedding in March of 2006) to the same man I love the most.

Special Dinner - PreAnniv Night

We just want to have multiple simple celebration nearing our special day - our first church wedding anniversary. We will not be able to celebrate December the 15th since it's: (1) a working day; (2) start of simbang gabi and; (3) we might meet some members of our CFC Household for one of our sister's birthday.
We had an advance anniv dinner last December 5 as posted here. And for today's dinner, night before our anniv date, hubby and I prepared a special dinner:

Roasted Chicken with fresh green salad.

And then we capped it with biscotti and green tea.

Moments like these, no matter how simple, are all priceless!

Advance Church Wedding Anniv Dinner

...happened 5 days earlier since our skeds are all full. We had japanese buffet dinner at Suki Sushi and had sushis, handrolls and sashimis to my heart's content (or I'd say tummy's :D).

H1N1 Flu Vaccine

Got it today, 9 days before our holiday trip... better protected than sorry.
I'm a bit feverish though, I always was whenever I get flu jab. Hubby C is feeling alright though.

BookFest 2009

From December 11, 2009 to December 20, 2009 at Suntec Singapore Hall 401 to 404, 10:00am-10:00pm.
This is the very reason why my hubby is extremely busy since Thursday of last week because their company is the major organizer for this year again.
We went to BookFest 2008 and was able to buy a lot especially for our wedding sponsor's thankyou gifts. I'm planning to go again this year, only if schedule permits. It's just been crazy since we hit December and I only have one free day - the 14th. So many parties, gatherings and kitakita to attend. though I'm not complaining as I love them all.
BookFest is Popular's biggest event every year.

ChurchWedding Anniv Gift

...from my Hubby C, he gave this to me 11 days in advance. Thought this is part of his Christmas gifts to me but apparently it's not. He replaced my aging N95 and I've decided to get this after weeks of thinking:
I decided to get a more pro phone as I veer away from cutie cute phones (feeling grown-up, hahah!).

New Moon

After 13 days of waiting (showing date here in SG is delayed), was finally able to watch this movie.

pic grabbed from wikipedia

I'd say my expectation of this movie is far greater than what I've seen. Twilight is way better in terms of execution, musical score and scenes build-up. Not that I'm a pro but it's coming from a normal individual without any technical knowledge in movies. I can just vouch and grumble based on visual aesthetics.

In anyways, I'm such a happy fan. It could've been better if they stick with Twilight's director. I hope Eclipse isn't like that, because if it is then I would think twice to see Breaking Dawn.
